Don’t give in to the pressure to do something that makes you uncomfortable, even in cyberspace.Consider the recipient’s reaction. Just because a message is meant to be fun doesn’t mean the person who gets it will see it that way.
What can you do as a parent?
Limit phone features like texting messaging and picture messaging.
Have passwords for your child(ren)'s cell phones, email accounts, and social profiles.
If your child(ren) have an online social profile, then you can be their friend and monitor their behavior.
Talk to your child(ren) about the consequences and dangers of sexting and textual harassment.
